Dunnottar Castle is one of Scotland's National treasures.The Castle has played host to some of the nation's greatest historical figures including William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots and is famous for its role in saving the Honours of Scotland (the Scottish Crown Jewels) from Oliver Cromwell's army in the 1650s.
Saint Ninian, an early Christian missionary, establishes a place of worship on the site where the Castle now stands and converts the Picts of Dunnottar to Christianity.
The artwork is printed with a border around it which allows for a mount to be used or to keep the prints's border as appearance of a mount without the needed for a mounted border.
